Has there been any movement to getting Oomph to not conflict with JQuery beyond 1.3.2?

Perhaps someone has made the adjustments in their own code but not felt it appropriate to share with the group yet.

I can provide a sample of the conflict, if necessary.

If you download the latest source from : http://oomph.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/28126 It has the oomph.min.js in the "consume/client" folder. Copy the "client" folder to where "firstRun.html" is located and then change the reference in the html file to point to the right place and it will work fine. Just had it running on my system beautifully, with gleam and everything. Let me know if you need anymore help or i can send you a zip of it working

same on my side. spent some time to know for sure now that nothing here works anymore right out of the box. although the toolbar is loaded in my IE8, this green tag left top does not appear. the testpage does not work either, my browser tools tell me that

https://visitmix.com/labs/oomph/2.0/client/oomph.min.js

is not loaded, obviously this file has been removed from the server. Too bad, maybe some of the people on this project find the time to help us outin the dark out.

It would be a tragedy if this had died . You can still download the files to your own server but the exporting to outlook, or other client (the killer feature for me) doesn't seem to work. I cant find anything else that exports directly without installing a plug-in. I used to work beautifully, it really impressed my boss, but now I can't implement it.

The IE add-on and browser scripts look pretty interesting but I can't get any of it to work. Running Win7/IE8 and tested on FF 3.6 and Safari 4.04 and nothing fun happens! The gleam does not show in any of these. Hopefully I am missing something very simple. Thanks in advance.

Ive localized all the JS, CSS, and image files to my local (and secured) website.

However I seem unable to avoid the pop-up asking me if I want to load content from an unsecured website.
Is there any advice on how best to use this on an SSL page?

HI,

I’m trying to create a movie schedule where a movie is playing more than one time each day in the same location. I want each presentation to be a unique event but I don’t want to repeat the name and the location every time.

According to John Allsopp’s Microformats book, you can use a table to create a schedule layout. I his example, he use an id on a <th> to identify a unique “location” and associate it to multiple “vevent” using the “headers” attribute on <td>.

Based on that, here is my movie schedule:

The Operator toolbar on Firefox understands it, but Oophf only output a list of untitled events.

Can you elaborate? Oomph does fine with something like this:

     <table class="vevent" >
    <tr><td><a class="url" href="http://example.com">Example Web</a> </td></tr>
    <tr><td class="summary">Test Event</td></tr>
    </table>

Not following when you saw id and headers attributes. All Microformats attributes use class.

I notice that oomph v1.1 doesn’t quite understand vevents when they are nested in a <table> and using “id” and “headers” attribute to link to common properties.

Will this be resolve in version 2?

Note for all that we are working on Oomph V2 and will be checking in bug fixes and new features to the tree. Most of the changes are happening in the files called oomphx.*

And if you've really got features or things you'd like to see addressed, now's the time to bring them up!

This is correct; oomph doesn't fire off if you run from the file system, unless you are running a web server on your own box aka http://localhost

Added Oomph to IE 8 last week and was surprised to find it doesn't seem to work for Micorformats in local HTML files as Operator does. Is this correct or should I be looking for a problem with my environment?

I noticed that the map doesn't focus for non USA address for hCard.
After trying some stuff I changed line 827 in oomph.js from

After this the map also works for non usa addresses (at least mine ;)
